Has anyone tried filling the bars with sand or silicone or expanding foam? I think seeing a review of each would be beneficial.

Trying to find an audio clip

I am trying to find an audio clip of the misic they would use in old movies when they were cahsing someone around like in a building when they would go in one door and come out another down the hall. I'm not really sure how to describe it.

Nah, im the guy that has to fix it if its fugged... Thats true. It is good to have a mechanic in your pocket. I didn't really have the spooge coming out of there, but I could tell exhaust was coming out and didn't know if that would kinda mess up back pressure or anything and make it lean like a cr...

Our neighborhood built by KB was part of that. I lucked out and they stopped using them before my house was plumbed. But everything I have heard is complete replumb due to there may be clogging of the pipes already happening like plaque in a blood vessel. Ours was going to be replumbed for free unde...

You should check to make sure your pipe is mounted right. Of all of the 500's I've had, I've never had to replace that rubber boot. It shouldn't be contacting the air box I think my sub frame is tweaked a little because the pipe is very close to the airbox. I tried the high temp silicone, but have ...

Sealing pipe to silencer?

I can not seem to keep the rubber collar that goes in place at the junction together. If it lasts one ride, that is surprising. It seeems to be up against the airbox and just rips apart. What about using high temp silicone to seal it?

Street legal 500? What is involved?

I have seen posts about people having a strret legal 500, but not the details on what is involved in general. I know there would be variations depending on your state, but a friend of mine says that there is no way to be street legal on a 2 stroke. I just want to prove him wrong.

I just looked at some Yamaha OEM microfiche and it looks like there is a small tab that one end of the spring hooks in to. Does any one know for sure?

Where to get foot peg springs?

I had a junk peg and a friend of mine gave me some titanium ones. I don't know what brand they are, but my old springs would not work. Where can I find some springs? This is a peg.

I dig that camo. Is that a "wrap"? The Gixxer is nice too, should wrap that one next... :D I guess you could call it a wrap. It is a heavy duty water proof canvas that I got in a big sheet, then cut out what I needed and used Super 3M Adhesive spray to glue it. Around the fender edges I p...
