check your pm's! I am looking for a chasis, or entire bike if you want to sell one. There are a few sweet KX500's for sale here now, 2 are like new but they are firm at $4000, used decent ones for $2800, and a kx500 engine for $1000, but its been sleeved. The KX is a nice engine but the rest of the ...

Fox F3 boots,
OK, they are sized small. My 9.5 shoe equals to 11 in the F3 's. They are wide though, and have ample room for big calves. Suitable for 3E feet and big legs... negative- just one... the rubber seal at the top of the boot around the calf will rip your skin off if you use freeride pants and short sox....

CPI pipe -where are the conclusive results?
well after reading 18 or so pages of back bitching and hearsay, I still found no conclusive answer.
How was it and where is the dyno sheet?
I don't speak peak, cause most people run their engines through more than a single 500 RPM range.
how fat was the curve?
lets stay on topic ....please?

OK this might save some confusion when stuffing a CR500 engine into these frames. The Std CRF250 04-09 uses a 49mm on the left and a 59mm on the right, with the CR500 engine get a 54mm for the left side and you are done. The Std CRF450 02-04 uses a 49mm on the left and a 54 on the right, with the C...

the epoxy is suposed to go at the outlet of the transfer port, where the transfer charge enters the cylinder. You need to change the trajectory angle so it doesn't blow out the exhaust port. Look at the angles of the transfer ports inside the cylinder, you will see which ones are supposed to be modi...

Thanks roostious... I liked the top end over rev better with the PC pipe. With the added compression, carb and porting it was agood balance. It felt a bit smoother, but more on top, and a bit less in the middle maybe. As for the carb the top bore was still 41mm, just offset 4mm, so in essence it was...

Haha... been grave diggin...LOL PWK---center bored mine to 41mm, then offset bored it upwards to 44mm. Shaved 5mm off the top of the slide so it cleared the new 41x44 bore. The motor had Eric gores port work, with additional aggressive intake and the additionaly the bridge removed , +1mm base gasket...

Thats pretty cool technology. The sled head have had 2T injection for some time, and direct injection for the past few years. Ossa might be a little sore with the 2010 Yamaha YZ450F and the rearward slanted cylinder.... The problem with the rearward facing 2t is that the pipe design would be even mo...
