I keep telling people the IP WHOIS means nothing as far as location goes. Nobody listens. Mine says I'm in Littleton CO. I'm most definitely not.

OT: Need a good performance shop
My son's YZ80 needs more bottom end. He's strictly a single tracker. Rarely has a need for hard acceleration. I've got the jug off, it looks to be in good shape. It's ready to be sent off. Has anybody had their 80 worked over by a good shop with good results? What did they do? What did they charge? ...

If you do ever lose the rear brake out on the trail.... usually if you hose off the rear caliper with water, the vapor that is created by the boiling fluid recombines with the fluid and normal operation returns without any kind of bleeding or other fiddling around... Make sure that BOTH the caliper...

Rear brake question
For a couple of years now, my rear brake works fine while I'm riding until I ride really aggressive for more than a few minutes. Then it just disappears for the rest of the ride. By the time I get it back to the garage to examine it, it's working fine again. I have bled it. I have flush replaced the...

Hey man, where was that at? I would say the Olympic Peninsula, but I know you don't travel that far. I dig the mossy, wet stuff. My back yard. Reiter. You thought Walker was technical... Reiter is just plain mean. It's just closest to my house. It's where I go most weekends or when I go on a whim. ...

A short putt
My oldest boy and I went out for a ride this morning despite the threat of heavy rain in the area. I'm glad we went. There was rain early, but it was gone by the time we got there. On the way to parking https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/1dd80223c7cbd0c2a2e19a05f03478f7.jpg A short break. htt...

I talked to this guy for a while. He's heard all kinds of different mumbo jumbo about how to get it right. This is the best way. I tend to agree. It's the only way to have it be unloaded.

Kayaba Spring Guides
You know those white spring guides inside your Kayaba forks? You know what I'm talking about, the big white things about 6-8 inches long with guide fins on them. Anyhow, over time these things have a tendency to swell up and cause the springs to catch on them resulting in a pretty nasty stiction. Wh...

A different domain name.
In all seriousness, I think you should consider something else for a site name so it can stand on its own. The present one forever ties you to cr500riders.com whether you want it to or not. You will always be in their shadow this way. Might I suggest some others? hoons-on-500s cr500talk cr500hoons c...

Joe Satriani "Super Colossal"
Maybe not "Super" but definitely Colossal. Another solid CD from Joe, but then I like Joe. The title track is pretty good and he follows it up with a really good tune you can listen to with just about anything. "Just Like Lightnin'". The tracks in the middle are all solid, but no...

Ozzy "Black Rain"
While better than the last cd, still a disappointment. Save your money. He rocks a bit harder in this one, but it is still the same stuff. Generic to the core and tired lyrics.
