As usual, a dumbass from down under has to show his ass again and troll the group. Please start your own threads and stop highjacking good threads. Trust me i worked wi...

Just put some time in on the bike in the shed. Took some time to locate a die grinder. One of the welds was stopping the motor from sitting in properly. Once I shaved the weld ever so slightly the motor sat in nicely. Heres some picks with more to follow. BTW where are all the old ADB website guys ...

Re: this makes no sense.
lets see if any of you hoons on here have an answer for this.... My 91 has always had a very weak spark. It's my first 500 and I was pretty disappointed with the bike and wanted to sell it because I thought it was way overrated. So it just sat in the garage and I stuck to my 250. I rode another 500...

Re: 39mm PWK issue
Been having an issue with my carb, since I cleaned it  When ever my bike is running I have fuel coming out my over flow; not a lot, but a steady drip. When it os not running I have to lean it over, before anything comes out. I have played with the float level, which may be right or may be wro...

Re: CR250 Ignition, studied all day. This is what I think.
So I have been studding all the cr250 ignition posts these are my findings: The Analogue (’96 and before) Attributes Direct fit no mods required (93-96) (may require bracket mods for CDI / Coil) Increased handling performance…. Does not want to “stand up” in corners Added mid range and top end. I h...

The car started to make a knocking noise when it shifted to second. So to try to keep if from flying apart it coasted to a 9.04 in the 1/8th. I don't think this motor has 1000 miles on it. There are a couple other questionable pistons but other than that everything else seems new. This was in my bu...

To be honest youd have to re-jet the carb to suit the new ignition and that aint to hard, leave the carb settings at what they were before the ignition swap over and go from there. yes i think the jetting is the big problem as i took the needle from the 500 keihin wich is thicker than the mikuni 25...

...the bike starts easily and pulls well into the mid but as its about to rev out it just stays flat. you still have the factory rev limiter installed don't you! Lookup GSS in the approved vendors section. Clyde says they have experience in this matter: ...and the cdi box that you took apart...
