put the motor under water and run it. If it's bubbling get some valve lapping compound and get busy.

Throttles are cheap, the Clutch is $45

I'm having my sponsor/dealer call tomorrow about getting dealer cost, they wouldn't do anything on the price as I wasn't a shop. I'm guessing $25 to $30 on the clutch.

How many long ones would ya want?

Motion pro T2 cables Custom order

I'm going to have a few sets made soon. If anyone wants in on some let me know. They are not offering the good ones anymore. They make the T2 (terminator 2) which are their best ones only as a custom cable.

I'm waiting to hear back on the price still.

I assume you want a virgin jug not a ported one? I've got a 01 with fresh plating, hasn't been installed or run. Matching wiseco single ring new piston. Also have a TMR 00 jug with full tilt outdoor MX port job that was done for the blackfoot team. With the correct ignition/pipe/carb it's in the 57 ...

Re: Ported Cylinder

Through a good friend, I was able to have Cliff White port a 500 cylinder for me. For those that do not know of him, he was with factory Honda during the Bayle, Stanton era. All I can say it what an incredible difference. There were parts of the powerband that I had a hard time coming to grips with...

Wasn't a big part of the secret how the power to run it was getting made?

Having a good running EFI scoot is cool, having it in a mag is waaaaay cool. Being cool is another story.......

Not all secrets are shared around here.

Plenty of info on EFI out there though.

2001 CR250 digital ignition system with 40 watt

I have 2 complete 2000 or 2001 CR250 ignitions. With or without brand new lighting setups. The lighting set ups are moose and still in the package. Flywheel, stator, CDi for $250 or with lighting set up $325 per set up, not for both. I also have a FWW for the FW that I could sell........... seanmx57...

I know it's been mentioned before but, make sure the machinist knows that he needs more clearance for when the clutch is disengauged.

I'm pretty sure your SH came with an X subframe. The 04/05 R subframe is different. I don't know if an R airbox will fit an X subframe or not. I'm running a gen 1 boot from a 97 - 99. I don't think your motor is rotated to the same angle as mine, so a gen 2 boot would prolly work better, the gen 1 i...

The seal in the sprocket side is no problem. The seal on the 6 point ring is too big to fit the smaller ring which prevents the correct spacer block from going in. Adam do you have a fix for this?

The rest of it looks right on though.

S12's aren't particularlly thick sidewalls.

Maxxis desert IT's rear
Bridgestone ED 77 and 78 (enduro tires)
Dunlop 739 AT and D908 (more enduro tires)

These are all stiff sidewall tires that work well with little air in a tubliss system

Stiff sidewall tires are supposed to be THE setup to run. I'm still buring off rubber I've got stashed and waiting for the tublis brand tires to come out soon before buying more rubber. Prolly cost a fortune with oil prices up like they have been. There is a long thread in the product forum on cr500...

I am curious about this too. IIRC, you mentioned the bottom being soft - is that b/c of the lean condition? Yea... thing pulls like a sum-bitch now. Since I added a new top end, porting, and a V-Force reed block all at the same time, its hard to tell what did what... Power is stronger bottom to top...

good intentions, follow though seems to be the problem. The covers are thick enough to jack your truck up with. Extra volume, doesn't look like it. My clutch covers don't fit either, hitting the basket, spring bolts or somethin. They are seriously thick, prolly 2X as thick as a service honda cover or stock cover, I'm sure they could be machined to fit......... They look to be 3mm from the motor or so. Oring goove is a bit too deep, around .007&...

Best FMF silencer for spark arrestor

Which one is the "good" one. seems they have had several models over the last 20 years.

I've got one that looks a standard silencer, it's short, says ISDE on it, no funky shaped can on the back like the Q. I've got a turbine core 2 and a Q as well to pick from.
