the 03 250r ignition works well
i was testing it out on the workshop driveway
now there are a few big black marks along it.....

you need to re-drill the slots in the stator plate to get about 10deg more advance.
set the piston at true tdc and you will see how far out the timming mark on the flywheel is to the stator plate
use a timming light to set it up, the marks should line up at 2000rpm
hope that helps

I would imagine that you could sink that much into a bike if: 1. You bought all "name brand" parts. 2. You didn't shop around at all. 3. You had all of your welding, bending, converting & mods done for you. I may have $3K into mine when its done, but I think that figure is high. beans...

mate if it's a 02 to 07 ign the tdc mark is way out you need to mod the stator plate make it work
