i have a set of talon / excel rims , talon built ... spokes are sprayed , maybe ur on to something with regards to PC spokes , lucky too u did not break urself up bad

Hell ya! thats a pro setup right there. Post up some pics of your work! I know some of ya'll are kind of secrective about some stuff but you dont have to reveal any of that. we could do that forsure. The pipe marks arent machine marks or anything, its dropped dinted and gouged on the outer radius on the rh side. the pieces of metal moved in the gouging have the nikkel plate so it was done before it. :evil: I've had probably 70 DEP front pipes in the last 3 years and to...

unless ur getting it gas flowed u are completely guessing .
on ur 750 i take it ur talking 4T , and tuned heads have the inlets built up and made smaller to create velocity in the gas flow , of course depending on what u want to achieve .

a couple of gaskets , mains and seals wont be near any comparsion for a blown engine ... there is not much more time involved in going further than you have already for your buddy

get it tempered back to T6 if he is offering to do it ... sections of the frame will aneal to T0 once welded , looks a good job too .

6" or 150mm is pretty much universal air gap i found on a lot of honda , yamaha and KTM forks i have done

FWIW i am going to use an air gap of around 100mm for supermoto set up on the crf forks of course with heavier oil too
