Traded for an immaculate 03 RM250. I do miss it but the RM is more compact and I bet its a little lighter. I do have a spot in my...

my gen 1

I built my gen 1 late last year/early this year and have been riding it a bunch. I have been trying to sell it locally for around $2k but my ads keep getting flagged. Id trade for a 250 2stroke or beater 450. Motor has about 30 hours on vortex piston and fresh bore. Needs fork seals. I think the mot...

good job, making me think of trying that out... does a strong 500 with regular size tires (like yours) stand a chance against a 450 with 17"s assuming equal riders Drag race? It's close... Handling? A 160 slick on a 17 has a lot more contact patch than a 110 dual sport tire. Our front straight...

Sweet. Way to go, Flunkie. What's the starting grid look like in that class? Is it made up of mostly 4strokes or 2strokes, 250's, 450's? If you voluntarily started in the back, then you got to romp all that ass on your way to the front, eh? Share some details. sportsman class is intended for guys/g...

sportsman monster

I haven't ridden supermoto in over a year. I got talked into riding sportsman this weekend so I found some junk tires and wired up the bike. Bad gate pick in the heat and I voluntarily started from way back in the main. CR5 with MX gearing and skinny tires accerates so much harder than most bikes on...

Well.....this bike has been together for a while and I did a bunch of MX days on it. I looped it practising starts (ha ha go figure) and bashed the radiator. It took a while for me to find time to weld the rad but its done. I also got a correct silencer for it. It's a turbine core sparky. The 91 to ...

Have I been reading misinformation about a flywheel weight? Isn't it supposed to smooth out power delivery and get more power to the ground?
You are correct. Thats what flywheel weights do.

The 500 is the Cooler option. Just don't slow it down is what I'm saying.....

the answer is no. because the capacity of the bladder is so small, it has to be pressurized and the schrader closed while its pressurized. just taking the chuck off the valve (the air spurt) is enough to loose most/all pressure. motion-pro makes a tool but its about $300 bones. find a competent shop...

This stuff blew out after a very short time of being in the bike. I superglued it all the way around on the manifold. I also grew an extra pinkey toe when I huffed the fumes from the rope/superglue. That shit reacts together mr.wizard style. So I went to the hardware and got a thick oring and used t...

well I got my head out of my ass for the day and finished my build. I jet it and took it to the mx track today (30* outside temp) and had a blast. it needs a little more refining but its done. Now the task of going through the suspension and getting it to work.... https://bannedcr500riders.com/image...

I guess I'm just bitchy cause I want to build the motor (top and bottom) and replace the whole exhaust but I can't afford it right now.

Ill be finished with it saturday, then I'm gonna ride it till it blows up or have money saved to rebuild it, whichever comes first
