Hello all, I have an 89 CR5 with 2008 CRF swingarm,shock,forks,triple clamp etc.
I like running a irc m5b on my 5 but it appears I can only get a 110 instead of a 140 for the 19 inch wheel....can someone verify this?
if I can find a 140/90/19 that is what I want to run on the rear.....

i run a 140/80/18 michelin S12 soft terrain tire on my CR250 for trails. i ran it on my 450X before i converted it into a motard. hooks up pretty dang good. they make it in a 130 for a 19 inch wheel. they also make the M12 intermediate terrain tire in 130 for a 19" wheel What year is your CR 2...

I bought a new spring and have no idea how to change the old one out.

Hey all, I had a machine shop make me a set of the flanged bushings for my 5.
they used a stainless with a rockwell of 30, they estimated the oem to have a rockwell of 50.
any metalergists on here?

When I tore my 89 down, I discovered the last time the swingarm bolt saw grease was in 88 when it was assembled. long story short I damaged one of the flanged races that are pressed into the side cases that your swingarm bolt goes through. I called Honda and they said "How did you get that out?...

I take mine apart every 4 or 5 rides, and grease the ever lovin hell out of it with Bell Ray water proof grease. I had a 1987 CR 500 that the guy never serviced, I bought it in 1988 and tore into it, and wound up having to replace all of the bearings and races, wound up being about a $300 bill back...
