My supermoto Rebuild...
So I figured I would start up this thread. My CR500 was already set up for supermoto for the last few years but I decided to do a rebuild on it last year and have slowly creeped forward. Here is what it has looked like the previous few years: https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/7dfc763a16c1ac0...

Re: Madman wide ratio trans gears .....
Let me know how they work out? Im interested in a set too. I am in the middle of restoring my Wetbike and need to have the motor off my bench before I tear into the CR5hunski, so it will be a little while before I get the gears in. Also I'm gathering other new parts so when it's apart I can make it...

Apologize for not mentioning this earlier. I had to really zoom in to see that. That area of the US would only make up about three coun...

I don't kow...six months is a long time to not do ANYTHING with the chain. By comparison I don't go a single ride without taking the chain completely off the bike and scrubbing it down and oiling it. Remount, adjust, realign sprocket and recheck tension again. It sounds like alot but preparation me...

Dude why is it always the guys that run without a case saver that the chain decides to take a shit?? You forget the safetly clip or something? Y...

I've got a map of the US that depicts what fuel is required by law in each county. It's an Adobe file so I can't post up...atleast I haven't figured out how to yet? But I'll try to explain it. As of April 2008: -All of California uses Ca CBG with several southern counties requiring Ca OXY CBG. -Onl...

I shouldn't ask but...did you pump the brakes first? Anytime you change a wheel the caliper's pistons get pushed out a little. When you reinstall you gotta pump the brake a couple times to tighten the pistons back up. And if there is some kind of residue on them, put putting around the house may no...

your supermoto wheels have over sized disks? I'm thinking the difference you may be feeling is the larger diameter wheels with a smaller rotor + your pads need to wear in the the other rotors Im running stock disks on my supermoto wheelset. brakes on new rims not gripping same...
so i got my supermoto rims off and my dirt rims on. haven't ridden it but just pushing into the garage I noticed the brakes really aren't gripping very well. (the dirt rims have their own brake disks. I am assuming its just cause those rotors haven't been buffed up by any brake pads for at least 3 y...

for over a decade now, gasoline can contain UPTO a maximum of 10% ethanol and still be labeled as gasoline. its only in the last couple of years that the general public has become aware of ethanol, and the fact that it is in gasoline. nothings changed there... except peoples perceptions. we didnt u...

the best headache joke
A husband emerged from the bathroom naked and was climbing into bed when his wife complained, as usual, 'I have a headache.'
'Perfect,' her husband said. 'I was just in the bathroom powdering my penis with aspirin.'
'You can take it orally, or as a suppository, it's up to you.'
