Brand new PC pipe for AF

I have a brand new Pro Circuit works pipe for an AF. I have been absent from the forum for a bit and it looks like the guy I got it from has screwed a few brothers on here! Well I haven't been gone for that long but I did just pick up on what a crook he is. Sounds like I got pretty lucky to get my g...

Thanks for the replies, I am really not all hung up on wooping him, I just get tired of hearing how bad ass his 450 is and his wifes 450 fourwheeler. I mainly ride my bike in the desert and single tracks in the mountains. I don't know if porting will make it less fun to ride in the mountains? If so ...

Paddle tire fitment?

I have got a gen 1 I need to throw a paddle on. I bought an 18 inch rim to put it on and I want to know what will fit. I am going to pick up a 10 paddle for sure. The reason I ask is I had a 10 paddle on my old steelie and it seemed like it barely fit. Will it have the same clearance as my steelie? ...

Tranny swap?? no not that kind

not that kind of tranny swap  I have a 92 motor in my gen 1 right now it certainly leaves a lot to be desired in the top end! I have a buddy who just picked up a 96 500 with a blown motor. He said I can have the trans out of it. First of all would you recommend the swap? Second, will everythin...

As far as I know. The alignment with the swingarm is perfect. I may have put the swingarm spacers in on the wrong sides. I was just looking at Danny's pics trying to decide if I got them in right. It shouldn't be that close should it? The gap between sprocket and case should be the same whether it's...

Gen 1 chain question?

I am currently running an O ring chain on my Gen 1. I came back from my first ride on it saturday and it looks like it has rubbed a bit on my case. What has been everyones experience with this. Is there a fix for this or should I just pick up a standard chain?

Why the 18"? I have one sitting in my garage that I was going to find a bigger rotor for and put a paddle on. Is there a reason for the 18" or just looks?

Here it is, I finally got a chance to finish it up. I love these Gen 1 bikes. I took it to the welder Friday afternoon, put it together Friday night. Rode it all day Saturday with no problems!! https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/fbb524ccac46edd89863a23333511f63.jpg https://bannedcr500riders.c...

Gen 1 & 2 anything interchangable??

I am wondering if the subframe, swingarm, etc. are the same on a gen 1 and 2? I have found some hellacious deals on a couple of gen 2 cr125's. I am a puss and like the gen 1 conversion  so I was wondering if I bought the gen 2 if I could fleabay a gen 1 frame for cheap and make it work?? Anybod...

Cr250 Stator Cover??

Does anyone know if the stator cover from a Cr250 will fit the 500?? I am using a 92 motor and have stripped the cases and I want a gray stator cover to match. Anybody done this, the 250 covers just seem to be a lot cheaper.

that is what I am thinking. That is all I am buying it for anyway, I didn't think I'd get hurt too bad @ $700. Plus those radiatiors look like 500's, they would be worth a little bit of $$ too. Plus that is a regular 500 pipe and silencer too. That little thing would be a wheelie riding SOB!!

I just picked up a new works pipe from Mike, and I am wondering if anyone else has used one of his PC pipes on a Gen 1? I was looking at it trying to decide if it is going to bolt up to the stock locations on my 99 frame. Mainly the rear mount just before the silencer? Anybody else used one for a ge...

Wanted Pro Circuit Pipe!!

I thought I'd see if anyone had a nice PC pipe for a 91-01 they wanted to get rid of before I go spring for a new one. Let me know if you've got anything. I just need the pipe, already got the silencer.
