Oh and the acerbic tank was very easily modified. Took me about 20 mins to get it just right.

fastonthetrack, Just curious, how come you won't be using the modified fuel tank you purchased from us? Did you just need more usable fuel? How well did the Acerbis heat up and mold? If the modified fuel tank is still in the condition that we sent it out in then you're more than welcome to send it ...

I split the cases and inspected it all.. The problem was a nasty kick back.

Yes the decomp is huge. i don't foresee that happening again.. its pretty common for that to happen from what i understand.

just a thought, make sure your kick start lever hits the foot peg and the mechanism is not binding up in the case. Mechanically everything works as if it should. I got the cases back in order and inspected everything. nothing was out of the ordinary minus the kick starter stopper was a little crack...

I got the engine bored and honed out to 89.5mm (one step over stock .020) using wiseco poston kit. Got the bike altogether and running. Was having starting issues due to lack of fuel most likely. Started 5-6th kick. I did two heat cycles then went for a cruise around the block. She rips. Let cool on...
