Well its starting to cool down already in the north east and soon itll be too cold to ride so im just going to go with a cheap quick solution so i ca...

They do have a universal kit, and you might check the parts fiche for the front rotor bolt between 94 and 95 to see if the part number changed. That is the only thing that might make it not work on your 94; TrailTech uses a rotor bolt with a magnet in it to activate the pickup that sends the speed ...

Trailtech vapor on a 94?
Im about to order a vapor and im unsure as to which one to get. They have a kit for the 95 but im unsure what the difference between the years is. Should i get the 95 kit or is there some generic part number thats like a "one size fits all" setup? I plan on running it off its internal batt...

Re: lighting
The simplest solution I have found is the Ricky Stator 25W charge coil, running through a regulator/rectifier, and charging a battery. All feeds are then taken from the battery . . . . . My AF is based on a CRF450X, so I have used the standard size battery (5AH, I think) and the stock CRF/X lights ...

Actually the trail techs work off their own battery for speed-o, etc. I have one on mine but the unit failed. Too many vibes? IDK - was cool while it lasted. So you charge the unit itself? Which actual one do you have? Cause from what i understand the 25W ricky stator lighting coil should be enough...

If you want enough power to run your lights then Eline is the way to go, not made anymore but they do turn up, not cheap, if you find something for around $400 you're doing well. The late model 250R setup can be put on the 500, I can't tell you much about them or what years but from what I understa...

Too late lol. The head was tight and top end is in great shape. The old gasket was a little worn so i hope that was the problem. Do you know the torque specs by any chance? While you have the head off, get a sheet of 400 wet/dry sand paper, and a flat surface, lap it a bit in a figure 8 rotating the head as you go, if its already flat you will see that it cleans up right away, if it's off very much, I would think about pulling the studs out of the cylinder and doing t...
