The only thing I Replaced was the clutch cable, I didn't mess with anything else other than the pipe and carb that's why was so confused. The clutch arm in with the stater is moving left and right and when I move it left it don't work and when I move it right where it seats all the way it works fine...

So i think the clutch arm is the the problem, i pulled the left side/stator cover off and noticed there is left and right play in the clutch arm, when i move the arm right towards the back of the motor it works perfect but when i move it left to the front of the motor it has issues.. I forgot to add that while I was out there I did pull the stator cover to see if anything obvious was wrong and I didn't notice anything out of place or broken.. also just the other day after all this happened I pulled the right side case/clutch cover to do the 2001 case conversion because it was th...

1986 Clutch help??

So im sure this has been gone over before but i am unable to find what i am looking for.. Here is my question/problem, i went to the dunes for a Tune run and towards the end of the first plug chop run my clutch started acting up, i suddenly had alot more play in my clutch lever than when i pulled it...

Newbie From Utah

I am a new member from utah and thought I would introduce myself.. I have a cr500 however it has 3 wheels under it.. It's a 1985 Atc250r chassis with a 1986 cr500 motor, Cpi Race pipe, 44mm lectron carb, port job, milled head, decomp release, runs on race gas.. What a fun machine!
