do you put hose clamps on each end or is it a good enough fit your dont need to? I just bought a couple for mine and the wifes bikes but I worry that the hose wont be a tight enough fit without clamps.

you'll definitely want to change the needle...just switch all your stuff over from your PJ (needle, main and pilot) but you will probably want to go 5-10 sizes smaller on the Pilot.

The frames ARE different. The subframes ARE different. The swingarms ARE different. The 97 has a slightly skinnier frame where the subframe bolts up. The subframe on the 97 is a straight shot top mount to frame and the 98-99 have an Up bend in it that wont work on the 97 due to the shock. Will a 97 ...

Anyone tried them and what do you think? For $200, it's a good price if it's a good boot.

CR250 ignition for the 500 question (pic)

So, this might be a retarded question but the CR250 ignition (stator) I am putting on my bike has a ground wire. Is it supposed to run to the stator plate mounting bolt? Will it be ok if I do that? Just wanted to make sure since the 500 stator doesnt have one on it. https://bannedcr500riders.com/ima...

your fmf must be screwed...I put a brand new stock pipe on my bike and it does fit better, but not by much...the back mount on the FMF had to be cut off but not on the stock pipe.
I paid a lot more than $50 including shipping too, and that was to someone who didnt know the value of the stocker.
