it is the flat angle part on the dome part of the head before the rounded dome, the distance between that and the piston is what there talking about if that makes sense

I have a mild ported (basic clean up exhaust raised up about 1 mm) and a re chambered head 87 cr500 motor in a 2001 af frame I'm looking to upgrade my rad valve and 38 pj with either stock reeds or v force.... Looks nice I just did a 2001 frame and a 87 motor I ran into the same intake issue and did the same thing lol.. I am running a single hose for the coolant line I found at a auto parts store.

I had to open my 87 case bushings for the 95 roller I put it in there.. I put mine in a lathe to bore id they are pretty hard. It would be easy enough to just make new ones thou if you have access to a lathe.

Well when I got the bike in pcs the kid took the swinger and put it on his 2007 cr125 cause it has a broke chain tensioner bolt so I have the 2007 cr125 one and it is slightly too wide to fit I did work it over a little and got it to fit but had to remove one of the spacer washers that the thin nee...

yea it was a mess I don't think they ever cleaned the thing oil and coaldirt is 1/4 inch thick on the motor... I'm going to go over all the bearings and get the roller up to par and rebuild the front forks (it came with a pivot works seal kit in the package) then work on the motor swap.. Ican't be w...
