Í had lunch with Lake Speed JR of Joe Gibbs Racing Oil a few weeks ago. His dad races vintage 2 stroke Karts so Lake is currently working on a two stroke synthetic oil that will work as well as the castor oil he loves now. The product name has recently changed from Joe Gibbs Racing Oil to "Dri...

Hydraulic, 250 basket or Bearing lever & cable clutch?

Weigh in please. The 99 CR500 clutch is WAAAAY to stiff to pull. To ease the pain during a hare scramble, what is the best remedy? Besides not being a Puss.....LOL

Pre-mix & Case oil debate

99 CR500 with what was told to me was a slight bore. I've heard a MILLION HEATED debates over pre-mix. I've ran Golden Spectro Pre-mix for years without failure, but am looking into making a switch. Even considering Royal Purple. Does anyone have anything TANGIBLE to reinforce a Pre-mix selection? A...

Gen III 02 125 Conversion kits & jig

Looking to purchase a 02 125 conversion kit & see several out there. Any recommendations on who makes the best billet Y &/or cradle & does anyone know the whereabouts of a jig lying around not in use for sale or loan?

GEN III 125 Coversion Pipe Issue

When buying my 02 roller I knew that there would be an issue with the front tire impacting the pipe during full compression. In a discussion with a much more knowledgable Hoon, I was horrified to be informed that trimming the expansion chamber would shift the band of my bike to a Top End Curve. I am...

Still producing Decomp's?

I'm an O.T.H.E.R. now & I'm putting together an 02 CR125 w/a 99 plant conversion. I'm looking into the decomp heads. Problem is I'm a Hare Scrambler & am trying to figure out how to incorperate the valve to be viable for a "dead engine" start. Do you still do the heads & do you...
