tap the bolt with a 1/2-13 tap and rig a pipe, allthread to pull the bolt out. Once you get the bolt tight hit the other end with a drift and hammer afew licks and then retighten the puller bolt and repeat repeat repeat. It'll come out sooner or later.

Motion sensors, and a chain link dog lot around the outside. With a big metal building and such a large blind spot the theives with a plan would cut a hole in the metal on the rear of the building or unscrew a panel and walk right in. You can weld the hinge pins on the front door or replace them wit...

If your dealing with really high numbers you should have raised the cylinder with a thicker base and decked the top of the cylinder to get the deck height back to normal. Lani at copper gaskets unlimited can make copper base gaskets in different thicknesses. The problem with high durations on the ex...

I can't tell you what would suit you best, but I run a 186 on my woods bike and it is a handfull. Its hard to put metal back once removed. You can always make small changes and make notes if you feel like its a must.

Define a race cr500 motor. Most everything out there is what I would call modified stock. There are few and far between that push the limits of mechanical and material fatigue.

Yeah wasn't sure how they added a lighting kit to that style of stator. The external types maintained the stock stator configuration and had additional windings in the cover, E-line I think. Anyways we spent a lot of time narrowing down the problems we had early on, and had similiar problems with st...

The 500 has slower cranking/kicking speeds than the 250, and requires more voltage than you have at kicking speed to start. You can try to roll start it to verify what I'm saying. We ran into this 8 or 9 years ago when we were putting the cr125 and 250 stuff on our bikes. We ended up using more powe...

Welcome aboard. What part of Ky are you from? I'm just outside of Ashland and I'm hoping to log more seat time this year. My group is hoping to make some trips to East Lynn, Rush and Briary this year if any of that is close to you.

1100 has about 16,000 miles on it , the engine covers and rear peg mounts have been chromed and it has a ceramic coated 4-1 vance and hines exh and the rest is stock. Fun to ride, but handles like an 83 model as well.
