When I got my stuff back from Glen, I asked what kind of coolant he preferred that I use, and he recommended straight antifreeze.

Is that a piece that can be ordered from Sudco? I'm looking at the inside of my PWK 38 A/S right now, and the place where the main and slow jets thread in has a couple screws going into it, and looks to be removeable. It looks like you'd need a special torx bit with a hole in the middle of it to do ...

Well, it looks like I will be getting the motor with the PVL setup. It's an '86 as well, has a billet clutch, and some other fun stuff too. Whats a guy to do when a sponsor is writing the check? :D

Oh, and it used to be the motor builders son's motor... can't be tooooo bad, can it? lol

PVL Ignition

I'm looking at picking up a motor with a PVL ignition. Most of my running is WFO, and I hear good things about the PVL's and WFO running. True? What are the pros/cons?

I think the responsibility lies on the hands of all parties involved, from the appraiser (likely in house for the real estate agent, as he does appraisals), as well as the agent, and title company. Even the buyer has SOME responsibility... didn't they take a look at the land before they bought? The ...

I'm sure he will lose his license, he's lost it before... only this time it may be permanent. And I'm sure theres a lawyer somewhere that is contemplating how many millions to sue him for. For the most part I posted it to help people out if they are thinking about buying land, so they make sure that...

A bit of local (Iowa) news

The real estate agent in question is a customer of my computer repair business, and I did a job for him the day this was on the news (this past Thursday). Is there any realestate agents here? If so, whats your laws like on this sort of action? http://www.whotv.com/global/video/popup/pop_playerLaunch...

I'm familiar with the digitron products, but for the basic feature's I'm wanting (rpm and water temp) I'm looking at twice the cost of the trail tech. I have a water temp gauge, but I question it's accuracy since I've never seen it above 165. I was thinking that while not exactly for the particular ...

Awesome. I think I may pick one up. The speedo would be nice to have, but is useless to me unless I can set it for my wheel size and such. I'm running the cr5 on a kart, so my wheels are alot smaller than those on a bike.

Tach?

I'm looking at getting a tachometer, but don't want to spend a fortune. I'm needing something that will record the highest RPM reading, as I won't have time to be looking down at it. Recommendations?

Update- Looking at a Trailtech Vapor, and seems pretty nice. Anyone have experience with one?

What year is it? Check Service Honda's price for an OEM rod kit vs. a new crank. Sending the crank to Crankworks will cost you $70 in labor, plus the rod kit and shipping, keep that in mind when considering the cost. Generally the crank assembly will be about $300, but I just picked up a new one for...

what P # is it. It looks eggsactely like that. It says 0246F and 636M08900 on top and has a new in the bag Wiseco bearing, a new wrist pin, and a couple clips. I was in my motor when I bought the bike, but it was never run. It comes in a box that says Vertex, which is the piston I used instead. :o

I just bought a new Wiseco, which was ordered by the local Parts Unlimited dealer, and the sides are machined out like they used to be again.

Interesting. I saw one sitting on a local motor guy's bench yesterday, and it had the cutouts too. That piston had the newer model part number, and mine is the older.

I did notice the price went up by around $30 if I remember correctly from last year... thankfully I get stuff at dealer cost. :D
