32:1 here. Conversed with the builder of my main motor (not Glen) this past weekend while I was up in the Napa Valley and he told me to spin that thing 9500rpm. At that kind of rpm theres no way I'm running any less.

Frank and I are going to swap carbs... my 38 a/s for his 39 with powerjet thats pictured. I'm looking forward to having an adjustable powerjet. The mikuni has peace of mind from knowing exactly what is going thru the motor, but it's a pain to deal with.

Salesman

A young guy from North Dakota moves to Florida and goes to a big "everything under one roof" department store looking for a job. The Manager says, "Do you have any sales experience?" The kid says,"Yeah. I was a salesman back in North Dakota." Well, the boss liked the ki...

I believe my GSS motor has a 140-145 in the main plus the power jet.

Where could I get ahold of one of those adjustable powerjets? would it be a direct replacement for the mikuni I have now? Another worry... it won't adjust itself with vibes, etc will it?

I'm hearing there are some of these starting to appear on the kart stuff that I do... There is a 550 cc limit, but whats rules? The people that are supposedly running them are constantly ventilating pistons/blowing up.

One more quick tidbit about the method I said I preferred... it stands about 3" off of the head, rather than the 2" of the one that is pictured on the motor.

A little explanation on why the 2nd choice is better since I have a spare few minutes... the first option, with the elbow that threads into the head then the straight piece to hook up the hose... unless you start the tap at just the right spot, and have just enough thread tape on it, when the fittin...

Fastcart where did you get that 90* fitting for the head? and how well does it seal? and how much taller is it than the stock lugs that are on there? Thats an XRP brand fitting. It is 1/2 inch pipe thread on the head (had to be drilled and tapped) and converts to a -12 AN which uses 3/4" heate...

dude, you should make a custom strait intake boot since the shock won't be a problem! I bought one of these for my GSS motor. http://www.qrckarts.com/store/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=255 Only issue I found is that you may need to open up/match the intake boot to the aluminu...

Fastkart I'm a little confused what you're trying to get a crossed. Your fresh engine vibrates as mush or worse than the balanced motor with ?? hours and a larger piston... Wow... I just re-read and edited my post... I wasn't fully alert when I wrote that...The fresh motor vibes a bit less than the...

making sure its trued and has good crank bearings is the best anti-vibration solution if you ask me  X2. I have 2 motors for my kart, in the event I ventilate a piston or have another issue... one has a GSS full race cyl with a stock bore wiseco, as it was a brand new jug when it went to Glen...
