Thanks guys I will buy one and try it out. The bike runs great but still playing with the jetting a little and the needle combination for the best power across rpm range. It starts right up first time almost always and idles strongly. I have gone from an FMF gnarly to the Pro Circuit Works pipe and ...

Cmotodad, one reason to pay so much for the very short plug is due to the IMS 4 gallon fuel tank is so damn close to the top of the plug. I know with a heat gun you can mold the tank to go around a plug, which I have done. I am running racing fuel with the race porting work I have done by Glen. One ...

It was supposed to cost around 40 bucks and I need a shorter plug to put on a different gas tank (IMS 4 gallon). If someone could let me know that would be great. I am running GSS raceport top end and a 2001 CR...

Glen did my worn out 2001 cr500 jug. Needed a completely new sleeve and Glen did the race porting job. Tremendous power, in fact, so much power I put the largest 19 inch rear tire I could find on it. Having to rejet the PJ carb and get it right with the new mods. It is a project bike. Everything exc...

He was always a very friendly fellow to a snot nose kid who loved motorcycles. I had no idea he was a racer and sponsered so many racers until many years later. I have very fond memories of the old yamaha 125 two stroker I bought with my dad from him. I am on the right site if someone remembers him ...

Greeting form East Texas

Happy to be here with CR500 riders. I grew up in San Diego, bought my first bike from Don Vesco in El Cajon. Graduated up to Huskys and a 440 Maico. Rode quite a bid as a young buck in Baja before the new road and also before all the tourists decended upon it. Most of the riding was on dunes near Ro...
