There are some old farts who think they are in a chase but, most of the guys are there for fun. Sometimes there are only 2 entries in a class and when one doesn't show you trophy! Besides, get your picture taken riding your bike in a national. I'm 52 and not in the hunt for 500cc world champion. Go ...

So, you don't plan to race it in the post vintage class? I think the disc brake makes it ineligible. You don't need brakes if there are plenty of berms or you can twitch it like a Honda is known for! Just get up on the tank and turn! ha ha ha! Put the drum back on and meet us at Devils Ridge in Sanf...

Glad you got the pic posted. Is your frame white? I was thinking of doing my bike all white. The frame on mine is silver right now and it looks good with the white fenders and tank. I have a new seat and side covers on the way. Anyway, I have a brand new chain slider for an 83 and a seatpan and foam...

Go here in a seperate window and upload your photos:

After it's uploaded, click on it and "copy" the location.
Go back to your post and Image

Hope that helps. Tony

Looks great. I'm doing the same thing with a 92 model, damn pink plastic!
I got sidetracked with a 2001 250 and a 1982 480. All unrideable at the moment, damnit.

Ha Ha, that video was funny!
I have one question though, does that 115lb kid wear flip flops or is he a real man and just kicks it barefoot?
Anyway, I saw that original post on the swap meet website and just knew it would bring out the best in you guys!

The more I hear about these conversions the more I want one.
I'm trying to learn as much as possible while keeping everything else in check.
Is there a kit I could buy and get my machine shop to do the mods?
Which gen is preferred? What should I be looking for?

HA HA HA! I knew blowjobs were gonna be brought up, just didn't know who! Did you notice the overflow on the 480? I've heard a lot of people say lean it over till it does that then prime it a few times with slow kick throughs. Hell, I was kicking mine over really slow one time and I was almost at th...

Just got an email from Larry's wife Lise. He's running for public office. If anyone is in his area and can help, he's a good guy. btw-Larry was a pro rider back in the day. Here's the email, the link doesn't work though. Hi all, Just wanted to let you know Larry is running for Lassen County District...

Thanks, I can't figure out how it got gone. The area surrounding it doesn't look repaired or bent at all.
I guess I can cut one off an old frame or have something fabbed.

Don't have an answer for you but a request instead. I'm restoring a 480 and the fender mount in the back is missing. Could you snap a pic and post it for me? It's the part that crosses the frame and curves under the seat. Thanks, Tony http://www.bannedcr500riders.com/gallery/albums/userpics/weldment...

Have you been able to stall it yet?
Also, sometimes I use power and braking at the same time. Is there any difference I would notice?
