My cyl head has the TTM water outlet mod so the hose to the radiator was right in the way of the petcock. I could have run it though with some slight plumbing modification, it was just too small for me (about 1.5 gal per my haphazard calculations) so I sent it back.

What is the prevailing opinion with respect to oil changes, new rings and new piston? I just got my AF running with a complete new top end and hour meter installed and want to stay on the ball in terms of keeping the motor happy and and trouble free. I ordered one today and will be measuring the capacity when it arrives, I'll post up my findings. They've got a 7 day money back return policy so if its not bigger I'll just send it back.

The seller lists the tank as having a 2.9 gal capacity, though in the comparison pictures it looks like they are pretty much the same size.
Is it really a 2.9? If so, I'm buying one today!
